If you want to use the Channel Scanner to measure adjacent channel power, set the number of channels to 3, and make the start channel (Step 5) one lower than the channel of interest.

Connect to the base station.



NOTE: The autoranging feature under [Setup], [Range Control] that is built into the test set helps ensure accurate measurements by changing front-end amplifier gain as needed. This might be, for example, when a strong signal threatens to overload the test set. When this occurs, the noise floor rises (as gain is decreased), then falls again when the strong signal stops.
